Can you detect a fake photo?

One of the theories I have seen is that she was dead so not actually in the photo...another that she was all badly done over so had to have the bruises covered up. Its a nasty, dark, pit of horror when you go down that particular rabbit hole.

All I can add to that, is that Kate is a woman and if she just came out of the hospital she might want to erase some features that make here still look unwell.
