Another theory if China is really missing a few hundred million people: What if China has developed its own breakaway civilization technology and is now setting up colonies all around the galaxy? Or signed some Grenada like treaty to supply Chinese slaves in exchange for alien technology?

Yknow that is a really good hypothesis, I didn't even think of.
They don't have to be dead, they could just be gone.
I am of the mind that the Chinese have a lot in space we don't know about; especially since they are the more recent ones to the Moon, for example.
