I started distilling my water since last summer. Any water that enters our body is distilled. Even cooking water, I use distilled.
The unit does 1 gal at a time in 4-5 hours. I'm doing about 2 gal a day.
The biggest shocker was after the first batch was done, the leftover "residue' in the tub was almost gag-inducing. Mostly junk from the pipes but the smell is horrid. That was enough to justify the purchase of the distiller and I've gotten others to start using them too
