It's all framed with good intentions and you state that you only want to comminate with good vibes. The vagueness might be so that you can adapt it to your own goals. I can totally see this working in prayer, sitting in a church with stained windows and listening to these tapes would probably blow your mind.
I have felt in control throughout, there has been surprises and lingering effects but nothing serious. All normal for deep meditation program.
