I agree, for what purpose. 

It’s being reported now that he had a traumatic brain injury while deployed. His ex girlfriend said it changed him and that’s why she broke up with him. Maybe he just had a screw loose.

That's my take on him too, PTSD, guilt, and depression from the break up (?). His email ends on a positive note stating that the Trump, Musk and Kennedy hegemony wave should be ridden, yet he decides not to ride it? Does not compute, unless it was sarcasm or I am not getting the context.
