''In a groundbreaking legal move, over 100 individuals who were imprisoned following the January 6 Capitol riot have joined forces to file a $50 billion class action lawsuit against the Department of Justice (DOJ). The suit alleges mistreatment, denial of constitutional rights, and politically motivated prosecutions in the wake of the controversial event that rocked the nation.''

So, the Federal WatchDog has started the J6 Restitution class action lawsuit alleging the government targeted them for political beliefs.

I'm a big believer that undercover federal agents in the crowds directed and guided protestors to the capitol building, then security details opened the perimeter gates and allowed people in. Also, in the crowd was FBI Anarchist groups antifa and elements of BLM.

The media will paint this as outrageous. However (and im not a legal boffin), I'm hoping discovery is going to happen.. on Jan6 and the committee.

I have some issues, I'll admit with a bias I have against those who combine victimhood with activism.

It conjures, in me a kind of revulsion... victimhood is not a badge of honor... ever.

The travesty here is how all of this was a matter of partisan zealotry.

First, on the part of the manufactured exuberance of the crowd, then the actual "actors" in the play, and finally, the simple fact that entire production was over political speech.

Yet the Justice Department simply disregarded that... and did what we see in third world countries of the past century... "produce a show" (incidentally, choreographed by other zealots.)

When some people express political opinion, they often engage in the theatrics of irrelevance, even to, and amongst themselves.
