A true dark Ages is fast approaching. In the interim, government and science, both hold secrets that you would not believe if you were told. They have traditionally operated in that manner for as long as there has been governments and their handmaiden science.
Expect no full truths and only self-preservation tactics from both. Trust no one.
By proclaiming that government has secrets that I would not believe, you ipso facto proclaim that you know what they are.
