I'm still liking the idea of the Treaty of Greada -- a pact between the gvmt and nhi that the nhi will share info and be allowed to conduct certain operations, and the gvmt will keep their existence secret. Since the gvmt has been forced to flirt with disclosure in a non-provable way, the nhi are justified by treaty in showing their presence in a symmetric non-provable way. The gvmt then reacts, spams drones, encourages false reports of aircraft, blurry images of stars, promotes easily disprovable theories on social media, etc, etc, to discredit the sightings. The gvmt was silly to buy into the treaty in the first place, the allure of secret knowledge and power was too great. They're finding out they made a deal with the devil. The nhi knew the secret would eventually become too big to keep, and would explode in their faces, but has the predictive modelling power to manage the inevitable collapse. This theory is entertaining and would make a great movie, thus it cannot be disproved. It is also a bluebeam plot by ancient subterrestrial civilizations as well as being clearly spelled out in the book of revelation, read your bible. Oh and no one is real and its all a game of the sims and your dreaming wake up sheeple.
