While I wholeheartedly agree that 'clock-manipulation' is only a tool for exploitation, and serves no one outside market trading and speculation...
I doubt very much that campaign utterances are likely to be a harbinger of any changes...
No one... literally no one.. "asked" for this 'saving time' approach... it was entirely 'proposed and instituted' from within governance.
We could all simply use UTC if nothing else. If we wanted to agree that increasingly local 'time' is not a "political" or an "economic" reality, only a matter of 'business' opportunity.
