So long I worried about what others thought and what would happen if people found out I was joining a community like this. Then as I got older, I came to the realization that who cares if others want to judge me? Fantasy and Horror movies are some of the most popular genres out there, so clearly people are okay with the genre. What’s it matter if I believe Vampires are real? I’m not hurting anyone, it is solely an interest.
I also came to accept a lot of things in life. I had my first supernatural experience when I was around 8-9 years old. I swear I saw the Easter Bunny in the hall way late at night. It was too vivid to not be real, but as I grew I started to realize it was not the bunny, but probably something else. That started the love affair, and as I got older, I wanted to hear what others had to say. Then after 15 years of lurking I was ready to converse with them after realizing everyone would be accepting.
