Gets a little depressing researching these examples but here's 'one of the 20th century's most brutal, little-known atrocities' from the Communist regime of the people's republic of Romania.
'The Pitesti Experiment' - absolutely inhuman brutal purges of 'non conformists' and insane state 're-education' through starvation and torture (both psychological and physical).
It's labelled 'one of the most terrifying and least known atrocities of the twentieth century' so guess my question is why are all these examples so 'unknown' and just who is it 'scrubbing' history when it comes to mainstream education of students?
