I am baffled how this image is contrary to what we are shown in the media... about itself.

Sure, everyone knows there are celebrities within the media sphere universe, that are examples of extreme dysfunction, just like anywhere else in life...

But what we have here is some kind of Elagabalus, or Caligula... and with scores if not hundreds of witnesses AND victims - with no one - NO ONE - making any move to stop it.

Baffled, huh?

Cultural representatives of a country that has greater wealth inequality than the Roman Empire at its height, imprisons more of its population than any nation in history, outright slaughtered a million people in Indochina alone, and still has the gall to claim it loves equality, freedom, and peace and is the greatest nation on Earth.

Why did they "go along quietly"? Because for Americans that is the normal "way of things."

Still baffled?

The entertainment "news" media will squeeze this for clicks and bucks... but what will happen after that, I wonder?

Life as usual and the next story I imagine.
