I remember realizing how deeply everyone had been affected... I started to notice how everyone in the neighborhood was acting... the closest thing I can compare it to was when the twin towers were attacked on 9-11.
It was like for a moment, everyone, everyone, was caught in gasp of shock, and the world seemed to stand still.
Of course, I was still too young to understand, watching everyone around the television, crying... the suddenly perpetual somber tones of every reporter... for days...
It shook me... even as a child.
