Yes I agree mate and all should be given equal exposure in student education.
Unfortunately it's absolutely not and young people are blissfully unaware of some of the worst 'ideological' (and 'literal') crimes in human history.
Have been reading about Communist China's 'great leap forward' and it is mindblowingly horrific (40 million worked, starved or beaten to death) - you'd think it would be number one on the modern educational syllabus but it is nowhere to be found.
It's been called 'one of the worst catastrophes the world has ever known' but hilariously the Chinese government just calls it the 'Three Years of Difficulty'.
Don't know if you've ever delved into the subject but if you haven't there's some info below.
