Oh no coffee is racist!
I just roast a Yemani super dark this morning, darker than I usually like, while making my coffee for the week. It is delicious! A happy accident! Such a nice chocolately flavour! I was going to post about coffee roasting, but then I found this thread when I searched here for "coffee".
Now I feel racist!
I will now say I drink coffee without sugar or milk, rather than "black", so as not to offend.
Edit: Aargh I just reread "roasting a Yemani" now I feel like an imperialist colonizer warmonger too!

Quote:Every facet of the coffee industry, in fact, is rooted in racism. From the moment the whites viciously stole coffee from Black and Brown People to the present-day Karen sipping her morning cup of white supremacy, whites have been able to drink the fruits of our labor and our culture with impunity.
