I didn't think it was a debate. I appreciate astrophotography. It's art to me. Sorry I derailed that. I actually didn't expect a response and was mostly trying to post a picture of the Southern Hemisphere sky. And think it's cool how big these galaxies are in degrees across.
If you fly LAX to Dubai you overfly the North Pole. And there is a map thingy on the back of the seat in front of you that let's you watch the transpolar route in real time.
I did not think there were serious flat earth debates, honestly. Only "The Matrix" works. But even the matrix has a physics.
