Cop (notices fake license plate. Initiates stop)
Vern (stops, announces "I am a sovereign citizen. Under what authority are you detaining me?"
Cop: Let's see some ID
Vern (announces cop has no jurisdiction, says he's a journalist (note: journalists can get much closer to Trump than the crowd can)) Waves fake credentials (some of the ones from THIS document: https://info.publicintelligence.net/FBI-...tizens.pdf)
Cop: these aren't real. (proceeds to arrest Vern)
Vern (various protests about jurisdiction)
Cops (by now, multiple) check car. "Holy Expletives, Batman! Much weapon! Many ammos! Buncha passport! Weird id! If not assassin why assassin-shaped?" May equal "eats, shoots, and leaves for Venezuela or parts unknown"
Vern (says he's there to protect Trump (and in his mind, yes he certainly is) because FBI/CIA/UNESCO/USMC/MAGA/KAOS/U.N.C.L.E/MI-5/DOD/C.O.B.R.A./SHIELD/F.O.W.L (etc) have been ineffective in protecting Trump
Cops (highly annoyed by now and no way of immediately checking story) haul him off with note that in spite of the fluff, it might be a real assassination attempt.
....
Cue the tabloid headlines. Cue news sources running with it.
Much searching later reveals that yes, he's just an ordinary SC on a mission from G.L.O.D. or some such. Makes announcements.
Tabloids go wacky over this. Other news organizations go "sheesh." Comedians gleefully rub their hands.
They're a real headache for cops: https://www.theiacp.org/sites/default/fi..._bleed.pdf
Sounds about right.
even if it’s not I think we should go with this version.
