Not sure why you would say it goes against Christian theology

Because according to Christian theology, only God can create sentient life.
Spirit boards call forth that which is already created.  They don't do the creating.
Tulpa are sentient beings that the energy and thoughts of humans create.
And that's against Christian theology, that humans could create sentient beings.
ANd no, we do not create the soul of the baby that we 'make'.
Biologically our bodies do, but the soul is created by God according to Christianity.
