It might be good to 'workshop' the sci-fi aspect of this... all authors need to respect the framework, and it would help to develop a "non-competition' attitude about where the story goes...
I love where this might go, and how it might take form...
I was just thinking earlier about the level of quality (and effort) that should be expected here, and Maxmars seems to be reinforcing an expectation of it being at least moderate; maybe something along the lines of: we're serious about this, but let's also try and have some fun with it. There may be some need for team collaboration(maybe not so much "moderation" – not sure), and this thread could also serve as a sort of collaborative hub after the fact.
I really hadn't anticipated this heading into a theoretical cosmology quite so fast, if at all, but who knows whether or not this might become a relevant asset at some arbitrary point, so there's likely some discussion there prior to blasting off. See, I knew there was a reason why I said "No rush".
It's just something to be nurtured at a reasonable pace. It's just status quo; no time pressure or deadlines. My allotment for recreational writing can't really be augmented much if any.
Right now I see a couple of different cosmological models existing at the outset (that was fast), so I'll probably delve into that a bit next at some point.
Also, I think the interest in this so far was unexpected and seems to have picked up a little speed over the past day; at one point I recall thinking that it may be just me and Quantum12 (and possibly Midicon) working on this even if it is only comments and discussion in the 'pre-thread'.
