oh thats a good one although amusingly it would be seen as derivitive of ready player two which is in the works and has a vr transmitted mind virus as a plot element ironic because ernest cline is all about derivitiave hackery, heh, also it made me imagine stevesons  'the diamond age' as a movie that would be awsome to see neo-vicktorian society and the matter generation feeds / 3d printing on the big screen. ive been waiting a few decades now for neovictorianism!

I love.Ernest.Cline, but yeah sadly, I'm sure you're right about how a lot of people would see  Snow Crash as being derivative of Cline"s work.  I haven't read The Diamond Age but I will now!
