"Shroud of Turin" research now points to Jerusalem and the time of Christ

I have read as much as I could about the subject, both fiction and non fiction, even one that purports the shroud to be the one that Jacques de Molay was wrapped in after the Templars were arrested and tortured in France.

I never bought into that one, but have always held out hope that it was the actual Shroud of the Christ.

Things of this nature seem to forever bounce back and forth between “solved and debunked “, but nonetheless I find them intriguing and realize that we may never know while here in this existence.

Thank you for posting!

This particular subject is always meaningful to me the same way as the many "Noahs' Ark" news items.

I kind of felt that material things should never be associated with faith.  Believing is not a matter of "proofs and evidence."  So I agree that things like the shroud or potential archeological evidence aren't really more than 'objects' of interest... but since those who lack a faith to speak of can't argue faith outside of objections to its nature, these things will always gravitate to commercial news as 'useful fluff.'

I note that even the AI response on the matter inserted doubt from the very beginning of its response... peppering the response with provisos and doubts about notional objections, rather than simply state facts reported... Because information without narrative is not 'useful' to the professional detractors...
