Did Cheatle resign to hide something, or was it to avoid an investigation?

While it may be that the single-minded repetitious utterance about resignation landed on their purpose and her resignation was merely acquiescence, I still hold the particulars of "making a a big production" over here resignation only serve to slow, or even stop, the investigation into the assassination attempt.

Why is it that every single media report about this is about her personally?

If we believe our experiences, employers 'toss aside' employees who are inconvenient and troublesome all the time... unless they want to exploit them... They didn't obviously want this attention to continue... can anyone determine why?

Perhaps they are protecting themselves and their own conduct within the framework... before we learn what exactly that conduct was.
