While you may be onto something and are correct about history repeating itself, I don't think you should get upset and raise your voice to your sister in law. All that did was reinforce her beliefs about some on the right. The best thing or well at least what I would have instead done is open a history book and look at timelines and compare historical moments between the different civilizations.
