The process is complete: there is no significant privacy, and freedom exists only within the bounds presented by the system. Duh? Nowadays, when one encounters people who don't realize that, it's best to accept that there really is no hope for them, nothing's going to get through, they will exist in the bubble of hopium and illusion that they have chosen. As do we all, but theirs will never change or evolve beyond denial. Politically, they are irrelevant, counting only as warm bodies marshalled by the machine. Nothing new will come from them; we can only wait for the die-off and hope that generational replacement will move things forward.
I don't believe that, I believe there are programs to protect one's privacy and there will be new ways to circumvent Thiel's and the government's grand plan. Remember the people have the voting power and can make the changes they want. As for my privacy, I have done everything I can to protect my privacy and so far so good.

"Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) are tools and methods designed to protect personal data and enhance user privacy by minimizing data collection and maximizing data security.Definition and PurposePrivacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs) are technologies that embody fundamental data protection principles. They aim to minimize the use of personal data, maximize data security, and empower individuals regarding their personal information. PETs allow users to protect their personally identifiable information (PII) while interacting with online services and applications.
WikipediaCategories of PETsPETs can be categorized into two main types:
- Hard Technologies: These include encryption, anonymization, and pseudonymization techniques that directly protect data.
- Soft Technologies: These involve policies, practices, and frameworks that guide the responsible use of data.
- Minimize Data Collection: Reduce the amount of personal data collected by service providers.
- Use Anonymity: Employ pseudonyms or anonymous credentials to enhance user privacy.
- Achieve Informed Consent: Ensure that users are fully aware of how their data will be used and have the ability to consent to its use.
- Enhanced Data Security: By reducing the amount of PII processed, PETs lower the risk of data breaches.
- Regulatory Compliance: PETs assist organizations in complying with data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR.
- Consumer Trust: Implementing PETs can enhance consumer confidence in how their data is handled, fostering trust between users and organizations.

- Challenges and Considerations
- Implementation Costs: The initial setup and ongoing maintenance of PETs can be resource-intensive.
- Complexity: Organizations may face difficulties in integrating PETs into existing systems and workflows.
- Regulatory Landscape: As privacy regulations evolve, organizations must stay informed about compliance requirements related to PETs.
