Mods feel free to remove if it is against T&C but I think it's funny as f**k.

Oh that's olden times now. 21st Centuty Digital Boy grew up and relies on the dealer to fix their car and craftsmen for any repairs. Angie's list and the like. I'll take the tools, though. Kits of things are fun.

Do fathers actually brand off on tool loyalty and that's a thing? Is it like Bud/Miller/Coors or Ford/Chevy/Dodge? Do certain tools go with certain beers that go with certain trucks?

Like does Miller go with Milwaukee Tools and Chevy?

its more about battery pack interoperability, but also yes they do! to me mikita is old school they sort of got in the cordless game first, dewalt is solid you can drop those things and no problem, ryobi is kicking it with one type of battery pack for tools lawn everything, and milwaukee... well, milwaukee... they're owned by the same company that owns ryobi but of course they're more american haha...

you can also buy branded coolers and shop radios as well to complete the loyalty...

Some people take that shit seriously lots of people on job sites ive worked did

I always preferred DeWalt or Makita, my Dad used Makita

I have my preferences for beers and trucks, but I'm not turning down a cold one. I've drank dozens of brands over my years Schlitz, Pabst, Strohs Miller Lite Bud Michelob Rolling Rock Red Stripe Lowenbrau, Corona, Land Shark, Modelo, Tecate, Sweetwater, all the classics, and lots of regional brands many others. We drank a lot of Coors once it came east, but as teens and young adults, I drank Budweiser more often than not.

Dad had an old Coke machine in the garage and he would fill it with longneck Budweisers been drinking those since I was 13-14

I go through phases, although I rarely drink now but had a Guinness, Heineken Fosters Molsons Golden phase

and have driven all kinds of trucks SUVs, and cars

If pushed for my brand loyalty I'd go with Dodge and Sweetwater IPA
