My story of why I’m involved in supernatural

I was scared when it happened. I am not now it was so long ago.

I didn’t really start seeing other stuff, it was more when you start to study the occult and supernatural you start to see it around more.

Most of them are more occult related, witchcraft, demonology, etc.

When I was in my 20's, I rented the upstairs apartment in what was a converted house. Shortly after I moved in, the guy downstairs asked me why I was walking around upstairs all day.

I was gone at work, all day and nobody is up there, I told him. I sort of wrote it off, thinking the guy downstairs was a little "off".

I got to know him, and 6 months later, we were down in his apartment when the footsteps started.

They were clearly footsteps, and the sound moved along the ceiling, clearly walking through existing upstairs rooms and doorways.

We were upstairs in 30 seconds, and entered my apartment through the one locked door. No one was there.

He also told me he sometimes heard steps on an interior staircase that had been removed when the house was converted into apartments.

Great OP, all I can really say is that I believe you.

I do think these 'tricksters' aren't evil; they aren't demons. I do think sometimes they pop in to make certain course-corrections. Many times these changes will appear evil and harsh, but it's a catalyst for something bigger and better down the road.

For me this was where my fear in sleep paralysis came from. I saw a bear not a bunny.  The fear started from learning what comes next.

Very interesting! To me this screams spirit/ghost shenanigans. Did you continue to hear anything as you lived there?

This world is full of things that are hidden from us and those we have just not yet discovered how to interact with.

This world was around for billions of years before we walked it. If we are naive enough to think that we are the only intelligent beings in billions of years, we will never know the truths.

I would love to hear more on this topic. I wish we had more involvement here in the paranormal and supernatural forums instead of the same old boring political and NWO stuff.

Thanks! I can see your viewpoint here. I am a big believer in everything that happens does so for a greater plan. Every flap of a birds wings causes a series of events that we will never know the full truth of. Really mind bending stuff!

Nanabohzo takes all forms. The rabbit is just kind of its go to. Any animal that is represented in the North Americas can be in its abilities.

I think it takes the form of whatever creature will get the response that it desires from its subject.

Thanks for sharing your story.  I have had encounters with the paranormal but never saw a man size white rabbit.  Maybe it was some sort of entity and your brain gave it a shape and maybe that shape varies by whomever sees it.  I’m speculating here of course.  When I hear noises at night I usually start thinking small critters possibly roaming around or getting in the walls, etc.   I was once woken up around 3 am by a critter jumping on and off my chest while I was sleeping.  It woke me up.  It was not paranormal to my knowledge.   I turned on the lights waking up everyone in the house and we found a squirrel.  I was concerned there might be a rat in my bedroom.  Squirrel seemed to make me less anxious.  It was real though not paranormal.

I do consider paranormal real. I get what you were saying though. I also probably would be more comfortable with the known being the answer over the unknown.

I do like the idea of a supernatural entity taking the shape of what we would recognize. Who knows if we would even be able to perceive a supernatural being in their true form.

And/or our own reconstructed perceptions trying to fill in the blanks of something not entirely of our physical dimension perhaps? Something inconceivable to our human brains?

This has been my impression. Whatever form some of these things take is for our limited understanding of whatever Dreamworld they seem to emanate from.
