Free Queer Pole Dancing Classes at Washington State University
#1
So this is how colleges spend their time and money.  'Offered free' means that the college pays for it, which means that the college tuitions pay for it, which means that mostly it's parents paying for it.

"Queer Pole Dancing Classes'.

Not just stripper pole dancing ... but gotta' put that gender bending 'queer' twist on it as well.

I can think of better things for college age adults to be spending their time on, and better things for colleges to be spending their money on.   I'm glad I'm not in college anymore and I'm glad my child isn't either.   Sad to think that people are using their time, talent, and money on this junk.  But I guess it's their choice.

Washington State University Offering Free Queer Pole Dancing Classes

Quote:The Stephenson Fitness Center at the university is offering the free lessons every Friday.

”Queer Pole Fit is a meant to create a community and environment that helps folks feel safe and disrupt stereotypical ideas about pole dancing,” the class description reads. “Taught by our queer pole instructors, come as you are, and enjoy this fun and challenging format.”

The pole lessons are being promoted as being for “all who identify as LGBTQ+” and their “allies.”

I hear that pole dancing is a great workout. However, I'm pretty sure it would be a twig and giggleberries destroyer.....   [Image: tolietpush.gif]

Sounds like Pullman, WA. A really blue area in an otherwise VERY red part of Washington. Like you wouldn't see this at the Jesuit university North in Spokane, Gonzaga.

I don't think it's a contagion at risk of spreading in Eastern Washington.

I imagine a majority of the people going to this may be lesbians that want to do stripper fitness without being looked at by straight guys. A similar concept to curves. Looking at the add that The Gateway Zealot posted it seems to be all biological woman with natural bodies through a lavender filter.

Possibly a lesbian-centric crowd that doesn't exclude against the oft biological male, because it's the future...

But this could be exploited. My former roommate is one of those "Male Lesbians," AKA, a glorified dyke fetish for a perennial beta male. But technically "queer."

And I think if he went to this class he'd be kicked out for making gay women and possibly everyone uncomfortable. Maybe prompt some type of caveat for "No males identifying as lesbians allowed!"
