The smell of U.N. Agenda 2030 is in the air. Promises and Big Payoffs underway!  Lol

No wonder Newsom was dancing and excited while the fires are burning worse.  Tumble

Is it 'cos' we approach the finish line?

Was Friday 10th RED OCTOBER? October being 10th month.

Will make an effort to login here more!

Cheers,

Rel

Hi Rel, glad to see you’re here as well, been lurking on ATS after being unable to recover my original account and yep ATS looks dead to me at the moment, granted only two days or so but usually tech issues are resolved quicker than that. Of course it could be money issues but most likely to stop the spread of conversations the powers that be don’t want out there, anyway I hope more of the regular contributors arrive here soon …

The talks is that Newsome have already plans even before the fires to turn the entire area of the burn land into condos, more people living in a smaller, more tax revenue.

But if we are to get another big fired in a near future those condos will become towers of inferno.

Is all about the money.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is reportedly collaborating with developers to change zoning designations in Pacific Palisades from R1, which allows single-family homes, to R3, enabling the construction of apartment complexes.

The proposed changes, which focus on areas impacted by recent wildfires, have raised questions about the future of housing development in one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighborhoods. Critics argue that rezoning burn areas could pave the way for large-scale developments, potentially altering the region’s character and raising concerns about infrastructure and wildfire preparedness.

I'm still trying to find my way around here and finally found a familiar thread.
I have no idea if it is right to post this here, but I tried ATS again and this time I got this screen.
Anybody care to explain it please? Has somebody got in there and trying to get it back up running?
My apologies if this doesn't fit in here, but it also took me a while to find how to upload a screengrab too.

Ya well before LOLIn the news conference, the LAFD chief stated they had 100 rigs out of service.

The entire LAFD fleet is only ~185 trucks/engines. So over half their fleet was down at the time of the fire. And if they are running without mechanics due to budget cuts, those numbers will get worse as the lack of maintenance breaks more rigs.

Fire Chief also said they had to cut Mechanic’s when they cut $17+ million from the budget. She went on to say there’s over 100 trucks waiting for repair. That's more than HALF of the Los Angeles Fire Department apparatus!
