I can get that. It’s starting to get too hard though to tell the difference between CGI and AI videos that you can’t tell what is really and what is made up. This is why I still watch all the “Ghost Adventures” style shows. Even though it is so completely fake, it is a “real” video which makes it so much better to me. I really couldn’t agree more with you.

For me, when I found ATS in 2007, I thought I’d be put on a list. SoOOooo 10 years I was a panzy ass. Then, in 2017 something AMAZING happened — I decided I didn’t give a fuck anymore! Your cheers emoji is in your OP. Sorry it’s a glitch for iPads apparently….

There's really a lot to it and it's not just about real and unreal. Acting is an artform where masterpieces can be created and enjoyed, and that's one thing. It can be based on real events, fiction, or fantasy. We understand it's not real if we think about it, but the idea is to just lose yourself and go along for the ride. Some acting is so good it may as well be real even though it's not i.e. a well formulated example of realism. And then you got some guy with his phone or a go-pro getting some insane footage of UAPs, or cryptids like those transparent entities from the Predator movie, and uploading to YouTube. Now that's real, but like you say, with AI and technology these days it's getting harder and harder to tell, but you know what I say? Ignorance is bliss. So, on the one hand you know something is fake, and the other maybe you're not so sure, but think most times we have a pretty good idea one way or the other.

So long I worried about what others thought and what would happen if people found out I was joining a community like this. Then as I got older, I came to the realization that who cares if others want to judge me? Fantasy and Horror movies are some of the most popular genres out there, so clearly people are okay with the genre. What’s it matter if I believe Vampires are real? I’m not hurting anyone, it is solely an interest. I also came to accept a lot of things in life. I had my first supernatural experience when I was around 8-9 years old. I swear I saw the Easter Bunny in the hall way late at night. It was too vivid to not be real, but as I grew I started to realize it was not the bunny, but probably something else. That started the love affair, and as I got older, I wanted to hear what others had to say. Then after 15 years of lurking I was ready to converse with them after realizing everyone would be accepting.

Have you ever watch any Eli Roth stuff? I think it does a good job of mixing true stories with quality story telling and production.

Here is a cryptid to welcome you. It's dog-headed pig beast out of Namibia, most likely a Nandi bear that isn't doing to well out of it natural habitat. https://pinebarrensinstitute.com/cryptid...an-monster https://oldafricamagazine.com/the-mythic...s-reports/ compassion, even when hope is lost

The local tribes always have such interesting and compelling stories of the creatures that live about. The Congo is filled with them. I mean look at the recent discovery of a new Anaconda there. How does it take so long to discover another type of 50 foot snake? Imagine what else could be hiding in the area. Maybe a super intelligent community of Silver Back Gorillas!
