Songs that touch your heart
#1
And please tell us why it touches your heart.

I will start.

This song touches my heart because it reminds me of all the things that wasn't said.

A little slower pace. She has such a lovely voice. Brings back memories that are so sad they're joyful, ya know? Or is it the other way around? Maybe both.

Always loved this song and it was a favourite of a very good friend who passed away (played it at his funeral).

I already gave you a like, but then I thought it is actually better to also express something.

I didn't know this song before you posted it, so thank you for sharing, I really like it.

The song is very dreamy, so to speak - I am not sure how else to express it in English, but I am sure you get my point.  Wink

There's too many to choose from tbh, one that's touched my heart the last year or so is this:

Reason: it's a touching song that came around at just the right time, the row boat line gets me every time. Little reminders of what should matter basically.

Mr Blue Sky is another song I love hearing too, it's not so sunny in England so reminders of days gone by and the promise of sunny days in the future always puts a smile on my face.

A break-up song that reminds me of literally listening to music on the train in LA in 2015 (red line Studio City to Koreatown) going through a harsh break-up. And the train is called "The LA Metro"

Every time I hear it I remember that time when life imitated art WAY too closely.

I like these threads... but I am at a loss...

The songs I would offer are from so far in the past that I think of myself as being so damn old and 'out of it.'

Well, here are two from my childhood that touched my heart...

The vinyl singles never lasted long in my house.... good thing they were cheap.
