Just saw this on the news.

3-4 of these dropped from the sky. Looks like hay bales with plastic wrap or maybe weather balloons.

My first guess would be mass toilet paper from a commercial aircraft, so that means its aliens.

Can you tell us where this happened or do you have a link to any news about it?
Could be a drug shipment chucked out of a plane unravelling.
Could be one of those restroom hand towel rolls from a dispenser.
Could be the remains of a towed aeroplane banner.
Without more info it's hard to guess.

My guess is that those are those covers they use in farms, to cover crops , and high wind get them fly to air .

I checked and the wind is about 1-2m/s. Also in the article it says these came down fast and those seem to have something heavy inside.

A pilot saw this also from small plane. It was in an altitude about 1 km while he was flying at 1,3 km.
I would say maybe some kind of weather balloon but then again there were 3-4 of these so I don't think these would stay so close together and then drop at the same time.
Maybe just a piece of plastic.

Obviously a drug drop. Too bad you didnt get the coordinates and pick it up before the mules got it. Could be worth a fortune. I always wondered as to how many drug runners get robbed in the game of fortune.
I mean like a one and done but then again you would have to "launder" it in another city as if you were found they would run you threw a wood chipper feet first.
