The air-to-air image showcases the deep shelf-like extension that makes up the jet's leading edge, which is most pronounced along its nose. This is a key very low-observable feature of the aircraft that is far more pronounced than the beak-like nose and chine-line that is seen on its predecessor, the B-2.

I still can’t shake the thought that this smooth plane/no seam design has something to do with a new visual camouflage system. Some of the pictures we’ve been shown of the plane and the way the light behaves around it just makes me wonder. We’ll see.

They're averaging two sorties a week, which is really good for this phase of a test program. They've moved into RCS testing and have been heard on the scanner operating in R-2508 around Edwards. It's possible that they've been working with RAT55 as well.

AFAIK, not in R-2508 only, but in R-4808N as well. There are chances it was flying around NTTR late August this year. However far fro being a gospel. They may have been flying with RAT55, I observed a lot of activity of one around Edwards and Groom/TTR lately.
