If we were to collect these... - Maxmars - 11-12-2024

I have been wondering about the overall alignment in the foreign press with the "political theater" of the United States...

How the things our friends overseas hear (and say) line up with the local clown-show of outrageous claims, base allegations, and general disrespect...

Who "any of them" support, or oppose is really NOT relevant to us here in the states... but the sentiment resonates around their media, and ultimately "informs" their public, just as ours does here...

How many have seen this... or something  very much like it.

I suggest that through these utterances we can better understand just how "international" and yet exclusive the 'old club' really is...

For those who can't visit the link (it's a YouTube short that won't embed)

A speaker questions whether the Foreign Secretary of the UK ever apologize to President Trump for his derogatory public remarks about him... which included scatological references, and calling him a woman-hating, neo-Nazi sympathizing sociopath, and a profound threat to the international order.

The non-clipped version of the video in this article shows the same thing you see the USA press, a mysterious burying of issues of actual election interference, a strange homogeneity of foreign policy, ignored objections to voodoo inflationary economics, etc.

When you say stuff like this I get that "poke it with a stick" urge.

Redacted.

A gentleman would have made a redaction.

I can speak for Australia and the media here (internationally owned and controlled) have a focused propaganda attack on Trump, even still
Seems to work reasonable effectively on a majority on the left leaning (or is that right leaning in the US)
Our chief diplomat (ex prime minister, Kevin Rudd) to the US pulled a few Twitter comments after Trumps victory, clearly indicating a riff between our government and the US.
Kevin Rudd didn’t apologise, just hid his comments

Rudd was backtracking with this pearl
“The policy line is sharper and clearer than it was last time round,” Rudd said in July.
yet Mr Rudd had no issues with Kamala and Biden complete lack of policy

“In a threatening response, Mr Scavino posted a draining hour glass – which appeared to suggest Mr Rudd’s days in the ambassadorial role may be numbered.”

Anyway, congratulations to the US, glad that Trump has been given the nod.
I hope for him

MSM is becoming a relic, people have more options, many don’t believe the US lead Western Pravda
