What would you say you do here? - pianopraze - 11-02-2024 Ron Paul to assist Elon in cutting down size of government. *Can someone please post the pic in this thread! Vote Trump you get Kennedy focusing on Health, Gabbard helping with Military, Musk cutting government with Department Of Government Efficiency… but wait there’s more! Now we get Ron Paul helping Elon! * Mod note (Encia22) - Added image. RE: What would you say you do here? - Maxmars - 11-02-2024 A 'dream team' is coalescing in the narrative, eh? If so, they are missing a few members yet... Don't forget, political appointees are never elected... but are given power anyway. And history has showed us, they can do pretty much whatever they want without real consequences to themselves. Don't bother 'Googling' proof of that, it's already in the 'spin' cycle. I’m moderately excited. talk about a unity ticket. Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians. mod: thank you so much for inserting image RE: What would you say you do here? - FlyersFan - 11-02-2024 RON PAUL???? He's 90 years old. IF he's still up for the job .. then this is excellent! When I want to vote Libertarian, I look for people like Ron Paul. (not Chase Oliver who is the Libertarian candidate) If this had come out earlier it would have been a very effective campaign commercial. Elon Musk and Ron Paul cutting waste in government spending. A nightmare for the Democrats ... RE: What would you say you do here? - Byrd - 11-02-2024 (11-02-2024, 07:23 AM)pianopraze Wrote: Ron Paul to assist Elon in cutting down size of government. I would send them both to an economics class. Better yet, TWO economics classes! RE: What would you say you do here? - Maxmars - 11-02-2024 Sorry for the overall cynicism that I inserted into that post... I was in a "mood." I accept it can be an overall good to insert 'outsiders' into entrenched "cabals" of power. It might engender change... if somewhat chaotically (be ready.) The dangers of perpetually entrenched ideological groups of 'controllers' far outweighs the danger of direct disruption. Especially where governance has been 'captured' by self-serving special interests. Cynicism would be saying something like: "Don't hold your breath. Last time, Trump did drain the swamp -- that's where he found his cabinet." Edit: Aargh, okay, I said I'd avoid this politics stuff but I guess I thought that was funny. Maybe now I owe a cheesy joke about the others, to be non-parmesan? RE: What would you say you do here? - KKLoco - 11-02-2024 Champagne on hand! Can’t wait to pop it Tuesday!! To thank God for our freedom, this beautiful land, and all the wonderful people here! I am in no way being sarcastic. RE: What would you say you do here? - pianopraze - 11-02-2024 Where did my post go? I made a post 30 minutes or so ago and it said "I see you" in thick white letters on all black background after I clicked "post reply" button. it didn’t come back to thread and show my post, like it usually does. I thought maybe some weird glitch and it would show later…. um… mods? Wtf? |
