I think they are paywalled.

here is headline on Twitter
Quote:Trump Flirts With the Ultimate Tax Cut: No Income Taxes at All

The former president has repeatedly praised a period in American history when there was no income tax, and the country relied on tariffs to fund the government.

Trump going Tax is Theft?

He’s really trying to get libertarians to vote for him.

I’m lovin’ it.

edit to add
going viral. My hero Ron Paul just posted:

Nice going!

I’m too boomer to figure things out now. Took me twenty years to get semi-literate on ATS.

I’m mostly lost here now on DI. Just learned about the Rate button today. Miss Stars and Flags.

While I admire the hutzpah...

I can't see how this could be accomplished with a banking system that is hostile and private.

Now, if we had our own sovereign currency, like a proper country should... well that might be a real option.

As long as we are owned by the bank (as we are) AND we have zero economic sovereignty from a monopolistic global banking cartel that makes money-laundering "edicts"... it's never gonna happen.

(P.S. -If you want to change the dynamic - expose the bank reserve owners  -  audit the Fed.)

well of course this is a road to hyperinflation, as government paper debt spirals exponentially, but i wonder if perhaps the smart money isn't really seeing that as being as much of a problem as in the past. up until recent years, inflation in the us has been fairly linear, going into exponential only within the confines of the ever-booming stock market, and the wealth holders have learned to pin their assets to a fixed rate of return, rather than price or even P/E ratio. by this point most of the people who will accumulate significant retirement savings have it safely squirreled in 401k's, which will inflate along with the currency. so really all hyperinflation will do is create a sort of 'evaporating currency' for the paycheck-to-paycheck workers, who don't really hold the stuff that long right now, anyway. it will also move us down the road to cbdc, which can give dynamic re-basing of value, and towards ubi, where effective currency persistence becomes means-based. with an international lock on foreign competition interfering with local markets, implemented via treaty and force, there's no threat of external supply collapse. so win win. i mean, if you're evil.

There is no income tax here. They do have a VAT tax so if you buy something like a car a certain percentage of the cost is the tax on the car. No tax on food or when the farmers sell their produce. No property tax either !! Yet...The military has all the neat toys a nation needs and the roads and infrastructure is continually fixed and updated..

Trump or whoever will not survive long enough to ever be able to get rid of the present system.. MIC will always win..https://x.com/thedailyrabbit_/status/1849103496546484399?s=12&t=29VOYgr0UK6CfRTk4TaWEg

VERY LIBERTARIAN POSITION!

I'd like to see a good study done on this.

We could save a fortune with the IRS shutting down and everyone would be glad that the headache of annual federal tax returns is gone.  It is too complicated even for the average person to be filling out.

I wonder, if this should ever come to pass, if people will ever record into history that the IRS's system of regulations and policy was 80% contrivance made for specific applications enabling abusive privileges?  The complexity of it was practically a declaration of tax-priesthood.

The Big Bank will never stand for this... it is one of their three main scams.
