Terrorism isn't about "I'm mad at my wife." I think the "point" of terrorism is not personal - and if it was... then it's not really 'terrorism.' I hope they can clear that up, and I would assume they would be quick to... unless the video author has his or her own agenda. It's terrible that people were hurt and so much damage was wrought by this perpetrator... certainly a horrific anti-social crime. But calling it terrorism seems like a politically dramatic stretch. I understand the entrenched and overt bias against the general circumstance of people having to accept a foreign culture "moving in"... this can only lead to hateful bias and all that comes from it. Clearly many people in the region (not just Germany) are stressed over the relatively sudden influx of many migrants... It is a terrible affliction on a society that did not "invite" them, and were expected to simply acquiesce to the "official" platitudes that were used to justify the current state of affairs. |
