Climate alarmists register another loss... - Maxmars - 07-28-2024 A few years ago, a large underwater volcano I'd never heard of, erupted. The eruption was so massive that it literally added an extra 10% of water to our atmosphere... From PhyOrg: New study disputes Hunga Tonga volcano's role in 2023–24 global warm-up The volcano, Hunga Tonga, is in the South Pacific, Southeast of Fiji, part of the Tonga Islands... At the time a proportional explosion of climate activists descended upon mainstream and social media... they proclaimed the horrors to befall us... global warming - but even more so - because of the common wisdom that "H2O is a greenhouse gas"... So effective the climate warning was, that even the perniciously ubiquitous "wiki" features the 'establishment'-sanctioned assertions..., assertions as "fact"... In August 2022, a NASA report on the January 2022 eruption of Hunga Tonga–Hunga Haʻapai stated, "The huge amount of water vapor hurled into the atmosphere, as detected by NASA’s Microwave Limb Sounder, The excess water vapor injected by the Tonga volcano... could remain in the stratosphere for several years... may have a small, temporary warming effect... would not be enough to noticeably exacerbate climate change effects." Later it was found that the excess water vapor from the 2022 eruption would remain in the stratosphere for about 8 years, and help making the 2023 ozone hole one of the largest and most persistent in history. In addition, research suggests that the water vapor could influence winter weather across the globe for several years. Well, current measurements are in, and a bunch of science folks are saying... It did the exact opposite. It actually cooled the planet. Hail to those who explained that the surest sign of bad science is if it's being used for 'climate activism.' RE: Climate alarmists register another loss... - guyfriday - 07-28-2024 This explosion was massive. In the morning that the shock wave reached the Pacific Northwest, it was foggy, then the shockwave came, and the fog went with it. Before anyone states it was coincidence, I watched the fog go out as soon as the shock wave hit. It was awesome to see the power of something from the other side of the world effect the environment as it did. What made Tonga even worse was that for months La Palma off the coast of Africa was pumping out daily amounts of Sulpher Dioxide (a powerful greenhouse gas) that dwarfed what man has put out since the industrial revolution. Daily more than man ever did, and that went on for months. Then Tonga went boom, and with it nobody really seems to give a crap and if you ask people today if they remember hearing it (the sound went around the world three times and was heard at least once by everywhere on the globe), people will not say that they remember this. The media refused to talk about it, and since it defeated the whole "Man-Made" climate scam, it was quietly pushed aside as something to not talk about. Even today the VEI is in dispute with some saying that the 1990s eruption of Mt Pinatubo was greater in power, but the numbers say otherwise, and we all should realize that Tonga will affect the environment for decades to come. Well, alarming things do happen and there are usually patterns in data lol. ArMap did you ever see this article - have been looking into this cartel for a while now (Gates also family involved) - apparently there's also Fabian involvement which, to my mind, is really bad. The Rockefellers created 990 "Climate Change" institutions, foundations, and activist groups RE: Climate alarmists register another loss... - ArMaP - 07-28-2024 They never waste an opportunity to make more money... Bill Gates says he has a plan to re-ice the North Pole, but that was beginning to happen anyways. So, Bill and a few of his billionaire buddies are going to try and take credit for something that is happening naturally. I'm surprised they didn't try and take credit for extending the growing season instead of crying "Global Warming". The La Palma eruptions weren't powerful enough to put SO2 into the stratosphere. If they had been, it would also have caused cooling - it's the basis behind one of the ideas for geoengineering to counter global warming; spraying SO2 into the stratosphere So2 is NOT a greenhouse gas! |
