DI Glitch on Mobile - KKLoco - 07-17-2024
So I noticed this a couple months ago and meant to mention something. If you’re using DI on a phone, you cannot reply to a post without it incorporating into the post you’re replying to. I can always tell when someone is on mobile due to this. The problem is, you cannot get the cursor to the white box to reply. It wants to go into the post to that you’re replying to.

also it doesnt seem to update last reply instantly is that on a delay or something, like where i look on the left side at latest posts
is just me?

While we are at it, the beer icon is also broken. It will not post where you direct it. It always posts it in the post you’re replying to. This is an issue no matter what device I use.

I'm on a Pixel 7, Android 14, running Chrome and I don't appear to experience that glitch.
Here, I replied to your post, I swipe down to the bottom and I can tap outside the quoted text.
In the "Source" mode view you posted it works just as well, tapping under the last Quote tag lets me reply outside your quote box.

What device, OS version and browser are you using?

Back home on my iPad. Which enabled me to reply to you.
Then it’s an iPhone exclusive glitch. Thanks for the reply. I’d cheers you but it would add it to your post.

My apologies for being slow with mobile compatibility. The last few months of my mothers illness had me mentally preoccupied, and then she passed. I'm just now trying to get my head back in the game.
Finishing mobile is the next to-do. I appreciate everyone's patience.

I'm sorry to hear that, TSK, my condolences.
I know what you mean, I lost my father a little over a month ago. Apart from the sadness and emotional hole left behind, there's so much bureaucratic craziness that adds to the stress.
