A "Different" Donald Trump Was at the RNC Last Night - FlyersFan - 07-16-2024
I posted this on ATS. Thought I'd post here for observations ....
A different Donald Trump was at the RNC last night. A different Donald Trump walked in. No ... it's still him and not a body double. But he was totally different in my observation.
There is footage of him in the hallway and in the RNC, but I don't know how to post that here. If anyone can post it ... go ahead.
His walk was different. His attitude was different. He looked older. He looked tired. When he stepped out into the crowd that was cheering, he didn't have his usual 'eating it up' look ... he looked nervous and like that he didn't want to be there.
I think something has dramatically changed.
Tired. Nervous. Older. I think he knows that "THEY" have tried cancelling him and tried lawfare on him, and now 'THEY" have tried assassination which was the logical next step for 'THEM".
He looks like an older man who suddenly realizes just how serious 'THEY" are about getting rid of him and he suddenly realizes just how deep the evil goes. He's been talking about it and he knows about it ... but know he KNOWS about it. It bit him.
Anyways, that's my observation. I don't know if I'm just reading into things (I don't think so), or if others saw the same thing as I did.

He should be commended. If I were him, I’d be on that yacht in the Mediterranean, that he mentioned. There are a lot of people that believe he’s running again for notoriety. Which seems utterly ridiculous to me. He’s put his life in harms way, and has not backed down. He will most likely be elected president. Then also most likely, have more attempts on his life. With a high likelihood of one of those attempts being successful. He always knew he had a target on his back. NOW, it’s real. It’s one thing to think about bullets wizzing by your head. It’s an entirely different feeling actually having them come one inch from ending your life.
I watched the shooting live. Words cannot describe what was going through my brain for that minute or so that he was on the ground engulfed by SS agents. I thought he got shot in the neck. I thought he was done. My adrenaline was at 110%, and I was just watching it on TV. I feel very fortunate that I was wrong. Because had it killed him, I don’t know what I would have done. Self control would have been out the door. I’m typically a non-violent person. UNLESS, you push me too far. Then ALL bets are off and I WILL turn into an utter SAVAGE. They better hope they aren’t successful in their future endeavors. I do believe there a lot of ‘me’s’ out there…..

I noticed a change in imagery myself. I mean, there seemed to be a different 'aura' (for lack of a better word) about him. I can't say if it was so, but it appeared that there was a tinge of wear in his demeanor.
He now knows something he had only believed... is where my imagination takes me.
"Politics" is not 'just a show' to some elites who will act as if it was a mafia 'war.'

That's what I was thinking. Previous to Saturday, he believed that the left hated him so much they wanted him gone and dead. Now he KNOWS it and it's very REAL. He has that look on his face, IMHO. It's a different look. Everything about him .. his walk, his emotions, his expression, etc ... is different to me than before Saturday.
I watched live as it happened. I saw him grab his head and go to the ground. I heard many gunshots. I thought he was dead. And I wasn't surprised.

I noticed the same thing. He looked tired to me. The initial adreniline rush was over. He looked more contrite than I've ever seen him as he is usually pretty blustery. I don't know if his attitude has actually changed, but he does have an opportunity to change his tune a bit to a more "Let's get along" meme. I hope he got his shoes back.

You know it occurs to me that we might also consider that he is the recent victim of shock. That very well could make anyone find it difficult to get their stride back...
I mean these political players are "always on stage" and don't ever get a break from it... rest is hard to come by.

That was my take. The man just had his ear sliced open by a bullet that was intended for his temple. He was one head turn from lights out, brains splattered, done, ready for a long dirt nap. That would rattle any sane man.
But, he showed up. He probably didn't want to (he wasn't scheduled until Thursday) but he felt he needed to show the world he was OK. And he did. Just not as OK as he was before. He'll recover.

I think it's both shock and realization of what happened. 3 to 4 days after being shot and realizing that someone wanted to blow his head off while his children and grandchildren watched on television.........it's evil......not just the word evil but the definition of evil.

It was so touching to see Melania go to him after the speech. Now that’s a classy woman!
