RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Nerb - 06-03-2024 Drawn from his own thoughts and unaware of why it had happened, Zardog gazed up into the sky to see the blazing trail of the plummeting Federation ship and an idea entered his mind, not a big one, but a great idea all the same. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Oldcarpy2 - 06-04-2024 But then Zardog was flit effected aboard the War Pig and greeted by the Captain and crew - "Welcome back, Lord Commander, I m afraid you have lost your memory but the ship's Autodoc will restore it and soon you will once again assume command of the Rebel Fleet and deal the final blow to the Federation!". RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Nerb - 06-04-2024 And it didn't take long before a quick scan and some rather uncomfortable probing later shoved him back into the reality he had been so swiftly divorced from, one that hammered home the importance of his duty to more than just revenge and adventure but one of real heroics and leadership, and now it was time to plan, plan big and plan fast, it was Doomsday for The Federation and they won't know what hit them. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - CCoburn - 06-04-2024 But at the time of the scan the crew was unaware that the autodoc had in fact malfunctioned due to some strange electromagnetic anomaly; maybe it was hacked by the federation so that Zardogs' memory map could also be hacked and implanted with false memories in attempt to garner some control over Lord Commander Zardog thus fortifying the federations' hand by enumerating all possibilities in attempt to converge upon some favorable outcome. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Nerb - 06-10-2024 Thank goodness the crew had run the diagnostics tests first and used an Elak Rabbit for those tests creating not a readjusted Elak Rabbit but a badly adjusted Elak fish that just pouted a lot and flipped from one side to the other proving there was a problem, a big problem but a relatively harmless problem, except for the Rabbit of course. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - CCoburn - 07-13-2024 Several months had passed and there was no sign of Commander Zardog anywhere to be found, and the mal-adjusted Elak fish was readjusted to rabbit-mode and proceeded down the rabbit-hole where he met a passerby that inquired about whether or not the commander should retire from his odyssey and finalize his legacy in exorbitant luxury or continue to press on. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Nerb - 07-13-2024 Phew!, that was close he thought, the process of his scan with some residual bad code had created a wormhole that swallowed time until the rebooted autodoc gave him a nudge to now be sitting up and gasping for breath thanks to a very handy restore point. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Karl12 - 07-14-2024 For the first time in his life Zardog truly pondered the actual nature of the fractal holographic reality he found himself in - 'are there rectangular objects outside spacetime' he asked himself - 'if so does my consciousness project everything - Hell I could even be a character being contrived on an internet thread lol'. RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Karl12 - 07-26-2024 Being an obstinate realist he instantly rejected such silly internal musings - had he been spiked with Mongolian gibbon mushrooms he wondered - just who was that utterly bizarre space maiden who gave him the toothpaste on page three? RE: "ZARDOG'S ODYSSEY". A Single Sentance Story. - Nerb - 07-31-2024 Regardless, he needed a new plan, one with better vision and a lot more satisfaction because the complications of his current position were just a little too overwhelming and he needed a heck of a lot more adventure to satisfy his ultimate desires. |
