Each time I see this Portrait I was drawn to something and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Until now.
It looks like a view from above where he is lying in a pool of blood with just his face and hands above the surface.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here on a thread about a portrait of old' Charly? It just seems that you're a bit gulible and seem to be swollowing rumours and false stories about someone who has been diagnosed with cancer and taking time to ease back into public life??
