With all respect.

While this conversation has evolved naturally, I would like to point out that it has drifted from the topic to something else.
No one is necessarily strictly "off topic," but much of the last entries are about something other than the actual topic of an accusation of a potential shoot-down.

Motivations and the political gaming behind the accusation is relevant, but not precisely "on point."

I would suggest another thread to discuss the antecedents of the allegation...

(And I would like to hope that the conflict between the 'information" (reporting) of NATO-members' statements, and the antagonists becomes central to that discussion.)

This is just a suggestion from me (MaxMars)... and not a "moderator" action or criticism.

Still do not care.
It's on the other side of the planet.
There is nothing about this that effects me.

Unfortunately for me, I've known too many Russians and Ukrainians to not care.  Those were good people in my opinion, just like us...

But I respect that tax-payers are not in a position to become materially involved, even though some few think their profit is worth it... (and those others that will only speak the "script" of that few.)

I think I'd have a far better outlook on this conflict if I wasn't so raw and sore over by the Biden cartel's funding of their criminal enterprise in Ukraine with taxpayer money by the ship load.  I'd really like to see a balance sheet which shows how much money in military aid and goods the US has sent to Ukraine compared to other NATO and non-NATO countries.  Meh, I'd probably just get angrier than I already am if I did.

The least they could have done was take the glass shards out of the vaseline and give me a kiss now and then, but nope!  All I got was..."Bend over, Rover!"

But I do share your sentiment about the Russian and Ukrainian people.

My overall gist is that I feel I have to callout that despite the conflict between governments... it's not the civilian populations that have to be brutalized and traumatized.  In neither country will you find people chomping at the bit to be at war... The Biden administration has firmly put us in the middle of this... all to support NATO which wants regional dominance... and the result is a lot of dead people who weren't in it for a life-death struggle.

Our political operators will always screw us, there's always seems to screw them...  (we have so much in common)

But the "players" in this conflict are always warm and comfy... (and well-guarded)... and they are "never gonna give you up!"  Go figure.

Sad No one reads my posts.  Sad

From Wikipedia:
Operation Himmler, also called Operation Konserve, consisted of a group of 1939 false flag undertakings planned by Nazi Germany to give the appearance of Polish aggression against Germany. The Germans then used propaganda reports of the events to justify their invasion of Poland, which started on 1 September 1939. Operation Himmler included the Germans staging false attacks on themselves—directed at innocent people, such as civilians and concentration camp prisoners. The operation arguably became the first act of the Second World War in Europe.

A Russian puppet in Belarus falsely claims Ukraine tried to kill him.
I don't care.
Belarus is nothing.
And Russia falsely accuses Ukriane, and the Jews around the world, of everything.
They do it all the time.  Nothing new.  Doesn't effect me.

I care about the cost of groceries.
I care about having enough money to pay the bills.
I care about my husband just being diagnosed with Parkinsons.
I care about my own health issues.

If I cared about every nit noid thing on the planet, I'd have a break down.

Your government are funding the war
giving away the farm that grows your groceries
reducing your income
reducing your healthcare
simply to fund a war against Russia on behalf of Ukraine
it is you and yours

your country is your issue, your country giving away billions to Ukraine costs you and yours every second of your lives

Again ... Belarus is nothing important.
And this guy is a puppet of Moscow.
Putins lap dog.
This guy is NOT the legitimate leadership of Belarus.
And he is LYING about Ukraine trying to kill him.

The leadership of Russia can go to hell, and so can all their proxies,
including the fraud leadership of Belarus.

As I said ... if someone tied to kill him .. I don't care.
Good for them.  Better luck next time.
