That is what Fox News is talking about for around 90% of the time including the commercials. I think it is a distraction at this point.

It should be a 5 to 10 minutes update every hour or two at most. News conferences OK. But not repeating "Breaking News" every half hour or so.

If they did not take her meds with her, she probably is no more as it has been over a week.

It's because her daughter is someone famous.

If it was me or you and one of our kids, it wouldn't make it past the local news.

I would think being famous would get the police to the situation more then normal but also to keep it out of the MSM. Putting it so public as it happens tends to mess up the negotiations and police work..
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

I could see this inspiring others to kidnap for ransom, and also other low life's to make ransom requests anytime someone goes missing.

They have already arrested one person from LA for for a false ransom demand.

At first I thought the same but apparently there’s no other way to contact the kidnappers so their response has been through instagram.

And rich.
Apparently the ransom was 6 million.
Most people don’t have that kind of cash sitting around.

This all looks a bit fishy but I guess we’ll see what happens.

If it’s legit and they get away with it, we can expect more of these kidnappings, sadly.

The news is reporting that the law enforcement is searching the womans septic system.   They are shown with the cover off and they are probing it with a long stick like t hing.  WHY would they be probing inside the septic system unless they thought they'd find her body?   It's really weird.

I totally agree with this.
It is taking up all the news.
AND .. they are breaking into regular programming for updates.
There is no reason for it.

Fox News is speculating that they might be looking for flushed cleaning supplies that were used to clean up the crime scene.

I don't really think a paper towel can last a week in there.

You got my curiosity up and I just had to look.

Her personal vehicle was taken by investigators yesterday and I’ve read that the other daughter frequently drove it. Something seems off about the whole situation.

The first investigators were in over their head. The local police had never done an investigation like this.

Then there is the famous relative. Is she reason for picking this target or is there another reason for the kidnapping.

There has been at least one false contact with the family by someone pretending to be the kidnapper.

A lot of time was lost before the experienced investigatora got involved. The crime scene was released to the family before they got there. Evidence most likely lost.

Strangely worded videos from the family trying to contact the true kidnappers. At least one confusing the socalled experts in this situation.

Her medical history and need for medications complicating both the investigation and whether she is alive or not.

The finding of a camera that was possibly stolen registering a person but no video recorded. Explained by the service subscription running out. If true, how would it record a visitor without a service, and recording.

This has to be a tragedy of errors or there is something big and unrelated to anything they have told us pubically going on.

At this point, I would consider alien abduction if they provided some proof. Erm, space aliens, not the regular ones. Although that possibility is still in the mix.

Sounds like they killed her and flushed evidence into the septic tank...

This feels like a future true crime story where the killers do a terrible job trying to fake a kidnapping/ransom.  And it all crumbles and goes down the drain. Like this is going to be a life insurance thing in the end.

Or maybe I watch too much "murder porn" and just think the world is full of people that kill their elderly mothers for 2 million dollar payouts.
