Greenland USA

So.  Yeah.  It is on topic.

That belongs to Denmark, not America, also on topic.

As is the fact that Trump repeatedly confused Greenland with Iceland multiple times in his speech at Davos.

What's it all about, well, knowing which nation you are going on about certainly helps matters....

If China already has a near monopoly on rare earth minerals.  Any source open to the west gives the west that much more control over its own economies and defense systems that relies on rare earth minerals.

There is no "if" about it, China does have a near monopoly on rare earth minerals.

But thats in processing and refining them.

The dependency problem is industrial, not geological.

And controlling Greenland's minerals barely affects China's leverage at all.

Comparatively speaking its a drop in the ocean.

Called it.

Ha! Fake them out with the old "Iceland ↔ Greenland" ambiguity!

I try to look behind the rhetoric and do a little economic research. The U.S. has a lot of economic problems that aren't being reported by mainstream media - instead the distractions take the headlines. Now that is where most people are caught up in the swirling vortex of the con, but seem to just enjoy the ride because it feeds whatever they need feeding.

This is not wrong.

Absolutely it is not wrong and for those who can't or won't look behind the curtain, I submit the alternate independent news reports to be accepted or rejected, it is what it is.

I find the likes of "Ground News" makes it easier to compare different news sources.

And identify which side of the political aisle they tend to support.

I look at multiple sources, all independent, some foreign because U.S. based news media can be very biased both ways. Then I like to listen to those people such as, the well informed, Col. (Ret.) Macgregor, who is or was for Trump, where I can see a genuine attempt to be objective. I have also noticed many podcasters are independent and have no side, but rather have political stances on certain issues, so there too bias can be present. All in all, I think with the numerous independent sources I have found, they have a very good handle on much of what is not being reported to the American general populations. It's not just this or that, it's all things happening worldwide that we should be taking into account as well, because what I've noticed is that when middle powers start leaving the U.S. out of the deals, Trump starts getting rattled because he is losing control and power.

He sees it as losing face.

But if there is one way to lose respect...
