They'll probably meet somewhere in the middle.
We'll get to have tens of thousands of troops/airmen stationed there
and we'll get massive mineral rights ... and they'll get paid
for the minerals while getting 'free' protection from the 
US military being there in force.

News reporting that the meeting between Trump and Denmark failed and German troops are now in Greenland .... to defend Greenland from Trump.    Really bad optics for Trump right now on this ....

hold up, if German troops are there already, then that means that Denmark never had any desire to be fair about this issue. It looks like if the people of Greenland want to separate from Denmark, the EU will step in and prevent it. Trump wants to buy it or give the people a choice, the EU wants to force the Greenlanders to sit down and shut up about it. 

Weird how they keep saying that Trump is the issue here when it's seems to be the EU forcing the issue.


The more things happen the more they are seemingly stem from the 1815 Congress of Vienna.

One deal was to give all citizens of Greenland 10,000$ and another sweetened deal was up to 100,000$ per person.. Just about a 6 billion dollar offer.

Germany in Greenland is for posture only as they do not have the arms or logistics to do anything other than piss in the wind.

There are 13 German troops in Greenland.
They are part of an EU reconnaissance mission to explore ways to bolster the defense of Greenland, exactly what Trump is concerned about.
