It's very difficult for me sometimes, 
to accept that 'apology.'

It seems that by the spirit of honesty demands we admit 
this is really a demand that we all apologize for lying to each other all the time...
almost as a rule... rather than an exception.

But maybe my own twisted perceptions of myself 
prevent me from that surrender of pretense...

The ability still exists, just got to click it a couple of times. There are shitloads of problems at Langley, and they're working on it.

For "staff" the option (the button) no longer exists... there is nothing there for us to click...

Interestingly... since I noticed this.... a lot of people started to have that "I have to click 'like' repeatedly now" experience, you are not the first person I have heard that from....

Maybe this is a function of some needed maintenance perhaps, update, or adjustments, needing the attention that our exiting owner once provided.  I will truly miss his expertise and advice...

Sucks for me,  I love the community for what it is , I can't really post in every thread and after every post I like...  so not having that feature for me is kind of crippling.

But to many others, a "like" is to be collected and accrued ... assuming the shine of 'vanity."

I don't really use it that way.... I see 'like's as subtle consent to address the "liker's" comments directly, or to just plain have a conversation...  Nothing to do with ego.

I'll adapt...

But if any members actually do notice the change ... please remember Mods are members... and we often "like" because we do...  so there's that...
