My theory is that Epstein felt betrayed by Trump, who despite years of friendship and woirking together, refused to help him, and he had compromizing evidence of Trump's crimes, too.

Or he could have given the dirt to the Clintons when Hillary ran for president where Bill Clinton is in this mess. Bill Clinton while in various offices was ahead of supposed Trooper gate and had the FBI working on building files on his political opponents.  Where the Clinton’s run things and do the blackmailing and supposedly suicide people.  You got to look at this in the context of the Clintons.  And why would they pass up on supposed Trump dirt when Bill would never play second fiddle to Epstein.

If Epstein had evidence, Biden and the Democrats had it for 4 years and would have used it in the elections.

Does that mean Trump is innocent ? No.

It means there are players on both sides who stand to lose and if the Democrats had tried to accuse Trump, they would have to release the files as evidence and then the dominoes start to fall. The Left keep going after Trump to release those files, but don't want to acknowledge the fact that they could have done so anytime during Biden's term.

I remember when I was younger... and the first ideas of mutually assured destruction (m.a.d.) came into view...

That is not very well reasoned and sounds like the sort of excuse that an idiot like Trump would say - repeatedly, hoping that none of his 'base' would actually think about rationally.

If there was evidence to be used against Trump (who had become President), it would be kept secure, accessible only by Epstein, and its location would be secret, because if Trump could somehow get to the evidence and remove it, then any accusation that Epstein made would just be hearsay.

That is why Epstein had to be suicided - he would take the knowledge of the location and full content of the evidence to the grave.

You have to factor in that Trump would have had years as President for secret 'cleanup crews' to do their job.

Remember 'The White House Plumbers'? It's not infeasible.

Without doubt there are still secret operative groups, working on behalf of politicians, that try and white-wash histories. Yet despite that, stuff is still coming out that throws doubt on the POTUS (primarily his denials and excuses that are proving fraudulent).

Remember also that someone ordered that impeachment stuff from Trump's first term get removed from the Smithsonian?

If Epstein gave away his evidence, to assist the Clintons and destroy Trump, then he couldn't then use it as leverage to get him personally out of a long jail sentence (something that was looking more and more inevitable).

Also, at the time of Hillary's campaign, Epstein didn't know that Trump was going to win the election, nor that Trump was going to abandon him (in fact, in the released Epstein e-mails, there was musing about if Trump might offer Epstein a role in Trump's new government).

The idea that Epstein was ONLY trying to get the Democrats into the Presidency is faulty. Epstein was playing both sides to gain favour, whomever won (he also financially contributed to both parties).

Epstein, in one of his e-mails, said he was in Trump Tower after flying in from Venice, 5 days after Trump's election win. One possible reason for Epstein to be there at that time was to personally congratulate Trump. Mark Epstien has claimed that there was also a phone call between Jeffery Epstein and Trump to congratulate Trump on his win.

It's amazing how some people need no proof to believe a lie, but demand endless proof to accept the truth.

OK, so this is a bit radical, but consider this:

Trump ran international beauty pageants for teen and underage girls. To do so, he must have been flying those contestants from around the world, to various other locations around the world.

We know of the links to other agencies whose principals have been charged with pedophilia and human trafficking.

He had access to numerous underage very pretty girls, and definitely 'trafficked' them, internationally.

And here's the thing... We know that Epstein was a pedophile, but, perhaps, he didn't have a client list, because he was actually the client of someone else who was providing underage girls to him and Maxwell?
