with what is going on I bring you CHAOS
#1
I was recruited for “CHAOS” just after graduation from high school. I had a scholarship to attend college but was told I could attend night school for a few hours a week (also all paid for) and would graduate early or within 2.5 years with a degree in criminal justice. I had planned on going to work for the FBI upon graduation from college but with this offer and the money I was to be paid, I could not pass this up. I found out CHAOS stands for (classified)

I attended 8 weeks of training for CHAOS which entailed everything from make-up and disguises to how to break things and start fires without being injured. I got my first pay check after the first 4 weeks of schooling (WOW) so I traded in my old clunker junker and bought a new car more suited to my new status in life.

After the 8 weeks and graduation from the CHOAS training school I was flown to (classified) and spent the next two days being briefed and informed upon the actions and locations I was to put my school taught training to use . The locals were up in arms because (redacted) so our team of 6 had certain locations and deeds to perform during the chaos of the riots. Oh there would be riots for the instigators in many cases were on the payroll of a cut out company of CHAOS. We even had maps of where the riots would be directed and color codes of the homes and businesses to be (classified).

I stayed with the rioters doing my thing for three nights and absolutely had a great time raising hell like only those who were there would ever believe.

I would have had 4 nights of activity but by the predawn of the third night a cop saw me starting a (classified and redacted) and used a taser on me before I could (redacted).

Hey my first mission so give me a break !

6 hours in police custody (not all cops are nice and a taser hurts even after the darts are removed) before I was flown back to (classified) with all charges dropped.

Another thing I really do like about this job is when you are out on a mission, yep they call our activities a mission and we get additional "hazard pay". This amounts to every day you are in the field assigned to a particular locality it is an extra $200 (hazardous duty pay) above and beyond an already generous salary. At this rate of pay I am going to have a tailored Kevlar T-shirt, underwear, and pants made..I do not like tasers darts in my back and butt !

Anyway if you are active and not a couch potato, like to raise hell, and this sounds like fun then contact (classified and redacted) We are needing new teams as lightning struck two of our teams last month so we are in "new recruit mode" of operation.

To use Chatgpt you have to register with an email and since I have a couple of emails I used the email of google which I never use for correspondence. I still felt weird as I might be entering the den of lions from some old movie. I got the CHAT to write or expand on some of the stories I have written before and after playing around I finally asked it to write a story about "When Aliens Arrive."

This is the story it came up with:

Quote:Quote:It was a normal day on Earth when suddenly, a strange object appeared in the sky. At first, people thought it was just a shooting star or some kind of experimental aircraft, but as it got closer, it became clear that something strange was happening.

The object landed in a remote area, and a team of scientists was quickly dispatched to investigate. When they arrived, they found that the object was not of earthly origin - it was a spacecraft, and it was occupied by creatures unlike anything they had ever seen before. The creatures were humanoid in shape, but their skin was an iridescent shade of blue, and their eyes glowed with an otherworldly light. They communicated with the scientists using a strange language that was completely unintelligible, but through gestures and expressions, the scientists were able to communicate basic concepts.

The aliens seemed friendly enough, and the scientists were eager to learn more about them. They invited the aliens to come back to their base, and after a few hesitant moments, the aliens agreed.
As they entered the base, the aliens were amazed by what they saw. They marveled at the technology, the structures, and the various creatures that inhabited the base. They seemed to be curious about everything, and the scientists were more than happy to oblige them.

Over the course of the next few days, the scientists and the aliens spent countless hours communicating, learning, and exploring. The aliens showed the scientists amazing things, like holographic projections of their home planet and advanced medical technologies that could cure almost any ailment.

Eventually, the time came for the aliens to leave. The scientists said goodbye, and the aliens boarded their spacecraft and disappeared into the sky. But even though they were gone, their impact was felt across the world. People had seen their spacecraft, heard their stories, and realized that there was more to the universe than they had ever imagined.

In the years that followed, humanity would make great strides in science, technology, and space exploration. And all because of the day when the aliens arrived.

This is another requested Rewrite:

Quote:Quote:It was a sunny afternoon in a small town nestled in the hills of northern California when suddenly the sky grew dark. At first, people thought it was just a storm coming, but as they looked up, they saw something they could never have imagined. A massive spaceship, larger than anything they had ever seen, was descending from the sky. It hovered over the town, casting an eerie shadow over everything below. People were terrified, and some began to run for cover. Others stood frozen, staring up at the ship in disbelief. As the ship landed, a door slowly opened, and a bright light shone out. Everyone shielded their eyes as a figure emerged from the ship. It was unlike anything they had ever seen before. The being had large, black eyes, a small mouth, and an elongated body. For a moment, there was silence as the being looked around at the stunned crowd. Then it began to speak, but the words were not in any language the humans had ever heard before. The being pointed to a device on its wrist and pressed a button. Suddenly, a holographic image appeared in the air, showing the being speaking English. "Greetings, humans," the being said. "We come in peace. We have traveled a great distance to make contact with your species." The crowd was still in shock, but slowly they began to approach the being. It explained that it was part of a peaceful alien race that had been observing Earth for many years. They had detected signals that indicated the humans were ready to make contact, and so they had come to initiate a dialogue.

It seems like every rewrite CHATgpt takes a different approach to the story... Anyway I wanted to see what the deal was about the program and thought I would share my experience for those who have not messed with the program. I think since this was so long ago it might have been one of the earlier versions like Chat #1 or #2
