The last time we were immersed in hundreds of thousands of people, it was to see Tin Machine in San Francisco.  WOW!  That was such an incredible concert!!!  That was 1993.   We had to wait for nearly everyone to leave before I felt okay about it.   Lol Wow   Freak.    Tumble

Ohhhh wow you saw Tin Machine with Bowie. That must have been amazing. I can understand the freak! Haha!

Great thread and beautiful pics!  We visited Alaska a couple years ago on a similar cruise and had the time of our lives.  Definitely a place I'd love to live.

I can say that I did not want to come back. I have a 17 year old starting Senior year so I had no choice.

I was even thinking about opening a shop in Skagway! I am still thinking about it. I felt free.

i am happy that you shared this post. I think everyone should visit Alaska. Thank you kindly.

I hear you.   If we were ever to leave the Caribbean, it would be to go to Alaska.   Both of us have become very hesitant to be among lots of people.   so it goes.  We considered buying a liveaboard trawler at one point, but decided against it.  If we ever left here, it would be Alaska.   I've always loved Sitka.   Skagway is wonderful also.   It's all wonderful, even up in the tundra regions (although I'd never choose to live there!!!)
