Why So Much Warfare Between The Faithful?
#1
The question is addressed here.

Reckon all these man made cults will keep killing 'non-believers' until there are no human beings left.

Absolutely disgraceful.

He neglects to talk about abortion, how strange
As smart as Hitchens is, he offers no solutions, no evidence, no hope, simply offers nothing but a retread of an argument of nothing, not even smoke and mirrors
As for that clip, nothing, more moaning and their choices

Atheism and warfare, Stalin, Mao and PolPot, hmmm, life doesn’t hold much value when we consider people who deny faith
And as an atheist, please tell me why war is wrong, moralising from some individuals who don’t hold to a standard set of morals, mostly burrowing from Jesus, kinda funny

Interesting that you think anyone that doesn't believe in organized religion is automatically an atheist.

Belief is belief, religion is made up by men to control other men. The two are not the same.

Almost all wars, possibly all, were fought at least in part because God was on our side, no matter which side that side is. No one has ever gone into war to defeat those people that are with God, only to defeat those other guys with their false God.
I know too much and question everything.
Does anyone know the minimum safe distance of ignorance?
Did anyone ask the monkeys how much fun the barrel actually was?

Atheism means one thing and one thing only (some dictionaries still hold outdated explanations).

"Lack of Belief in a God" -- that's it.  That is the extent of it.

It does not mean non-belief or God hate -- as anyone is open to proving God.

It does not mean devil worship.  It is not a verb - it takes no action.

Behaviors/beliefs - political or otherwise have nothing to do with what atheism is.  Individuals are responsible for their use and/or interpretation of and how they use it.

What does abortion have to do with atheism?

A little research would reveal to you what his stance was on abortion.

"Hitchens famously noted that while he personally urged his wife not to have an abortion during an unwanted pregnancy, he would not have compelled her to do so, reflecting his belief that while the moral question is serious, the legal right to choose must remain protected." (LLM)
"The only journey is the one within."

I don’t have a problem with that, don’t force my beliefs on others.
Just immense amount of violence that is forced on unborn, more than the claimed “warfare”

Pedantics, you should know what I mean. Hitchens is a self confessed atheist

Okay this is on the money and the same thing goes for religion. Trying to
pin the blame for mans iinhumanity to man on atheism or any religion
or even a cult. Not even the girl scouts are to blame. The blame goes
far deeper into the heart of all mankind. What is evident is that this is a
ridiculous recurring attempt by atheists for the most part Itrying to justify
the lie that God has allowed them to believe or whatever.

They never stop for a minute to think that the further back in history one
goes. The less likely one would be an atheist. This is not because man
was more primitive then either. That just comes with the lie from a
certain school of thought perpetrated on tthe populace down thru
the centuries. As we move away from the impetus of an agreement where
God granted time for men to live life on their own without God.

where then atheism would of been absurd instead of what it is now.
The lie made mandatory in every place of learning on Earth. And it's
impetus is with that number of bloodlines who know very well God exists.
They just don't want us to know. Because that's how they get the control.
That's how they can prop themselves up as Gods.

One only needs to watch what's happening everyday and it's so easy
to see. Evolution is the magic without the magician! And yet something
inside atheists pushes them to these redundant cookie cutter pop up
arguments like their picking up dope from the dealer hang'n at the
liquor store.

So now people are so hopped up on the crap lie they need that recurring
fix that is this thread topic. Anyway that's fine with me as I don't feel any
need to blame anything or anyone because that's just good sense
knowing where the problem truly is. It's not atheism or evolution
not Gods fault. It's us and if you man up you can at least stop being
so redudndant as if you know something when everyone can tell
ya don't.
